Urban farming has been proposed as a key strategy for policymakers looking to improve global food security. Indoor farming within cities; vertical farming; and farming that makes use of underutilized spaces within urban environments such as idle land, rooftops, and unused water bodies is seeing increasing interest. Zer0Hunger is involved in pioneering initiatives to empower communities to grow local vegetables, enough food to share amongst themselves & the community.

Hunger is often not a food problem; it’s a logistics problem. Approximately 15-30% of food in emerging economies is wasted. Zer0 hunger aim to create food banks to acquire & manage donated food much of which would otherwise be wasted from food manufacturers, farms, retail stores, consumers and other sources, These will be rechanneled back to those in need through an established network of community agencies,
